Reasonable Use Policy

The usage boundary for Dicta Pro's unlimited recording allowance.
§ 1Ordinary individual use
Dicta Pro is intended for one person's ordinary professional legal work. It is not a pooled team allowance, transcription bureau, resale service or automated bulk-processing plan.
§ 2Monthly hard limit
Dicta Pro permits up to 5,000 recording minutes in each monthly billing period. This is a hard technical limit, not an overage tier. When the limit is reached, new recording and transcription stop until the next billing period. Dicta does not automatically charge overage fees.
§ 3Prohibited use
A user must not share account access, split one workload across accounts to evade limits, resell transcription, automate bulk uploads or recordings, or use Dicta in a way that materially degrades the service for others.
§ 4Fair enforcement
Dicta may temporarily restrict recording where needed to enforce the hard limit, investigate apparent abuse or protect service reliability and security. Where practical, Dicta will give notice and an opportunity to explain unusual but legitimate use.
§ 5Higher-usage needs
Teams, service providers and users who expect to exceed the published allowance should contact info@dicta.io before relying on Dicta for that volume. Top-ups and team plans are not currently offered.
§ 6Changes
Dicta may update this policy prospectively as service capacity and plan design change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
